Welcome to the occasionally updated personal website of Robbie Dickson, an experienced editor, motion designer & creative director living in Edinburgh
When I was 6 I told my mum I wanted to be an animator. I’ve now been working in the creative industry for over 20 and over that time I’ve had the opportunity to work on hundreds of productions ranging from brand films and animations to documentaries and broadcast title sequences. I’ve also won a few awards along the way,
I now work 100% through Bloc, a creative studio, co-working space and filmmakers collective in Leith. Whether working solo or managing bespoke teams of creatives, I work with clients, agencies and production companies to deliver high-end content to audiences worldwide.
Outside of work I also have a strong focus on creativity and my personal time has been spent on various activities including photography, music production, design, furniture making, piano, cooking, djing, campervan conversion, as well as running a record label. The latest project is the conversion of a listed mid-century water filtration station in East Lothian.
I’m always on the lookout for new and interesting projects to get involved with, so feel free to get in touch.
